Award-winning actress kate Actress is appealing for blood donations.

The mother of two is in need of blood group O+ to help save her aunt.

“Hey, guys so 2022 was not only my best year but also the heaviest for my family and I. My beloved aunt (my second mum ) has been terminally ill, she is in dire need of blood .

Days ago NTV Editor Janet Checha was also appealing for blood.

The media personality is admitted at Meridian Equator Hospital in Nairobi West.

An update put up by NTV indicates that Chapia is in need of urgent blood donation and well-wishers have been called upon to save the situation.

“NTV Editor Janet Chapia was admitted at Meridian Equator Hospital in Nairobi West and in urgent need of blood. Any blood group will suffice,” read an update from NTV.

Chapia who is an editor at NTV has been hospitalized at a time another journalist – Catherine Kasavuli is battling cancer at the Kenya National Hospital.
