2 MEN JAILED FOR 30 YEARS FOR DOING THIS

A Nairobi court sentenced two men to 30 years in prison for robbing a man of a Ksh.2,000 mobile phone and a Toyota NZE worth approximately Ksh.550,000.

According to court documents obtained by Citizen Digital, Anthony Ekai and Kennedy Karanja approached Simon Kanyi with a knife on March 3, 2016.

According to the court documents, the two accused of robbery with violence used actual violence on the victim.

Mr. Ekai was also charged with handling stolen goods in violation of Kenyan penal code section 322 (2).

On March 3, 2016, he was discovered driving the stolen car near the intersection of Muthaiga and Limuru roads, according to court documents.
