CHAOS IN MURANG’A AS RESIDENCE OPPOSES RUTO’S APPOINTMENTS

President William Ruto had not yet named his Cabinet Secretaries after being sworn in a couple of weeks ago in a ceremony that was held at the Moi International Sports Center in front of tens of thousands of Kenyans.

Yesterday in the afternoon, the President named his cabinet with high profile names not being appointed as per the reports that we have with us this morning.

The likes of Member of Parliament Aden Duale who was appointed Cabinet Secretary for Defense and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen of Roads have seen campaigns kick off in their various areas of jurisdiction.

One of the names that was expected to be among the Cabinet Secretaries is Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro who has been very close with the President.

The locals were even so sure that all they were checking for was which ministry he would be allocated and nothing else but the President did not mention his name.

According to the available reliable reports that we have received from Daily Nation Newspaper this morning, some politicians had already kicked off their campaigns to replace the Kiharu Member of Parliament.

According to the reports, campaigns had already kicked off in Kiharu Constituency with Charles Karundo releasing campaign posters for the position of Member of National Assembly.

Mr Karanja Mburu was also throwing his name in the race after trailing Ndindi Nyoro in 2017 and 2022 General Elections in second position was said to be canvassing to decamp from Jubilee Party and join UDA to succeed him.
