FIGHT ENSUES BETWEEN GACHAGUA AND MUDAVADI

The Sharp differences that were characterized between former president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto may recur in the current Kenya kwanza administration if the emerging wrangles aren’t handled well.

According to taifa Leo, the plan by Kenya kwanza Government to have ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi operate from harambee annex which is supposed to be deputy president’s office isn’t going down well with Rigathi Gachagwa.

Secondly, the DP has demanded that he be given three key ministries so that he can appease his people from mount Kenya who brought 3.5 million votes Ruto.

The ministries that the former Mathira member of Parliament is eying include Treasury, agriculture, internal security.

Coincidentally, the amani national Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi is also eying one of these ministries.

This is despite the fact that Ruto has already promised him the chief minister position which is the same as the one held by the outgoing interior and coordination CS Dr Fred Matiangi.

Political analyst Wycliffe muga opines that this is going to be the worst start for Ruto as he settles down in his new administration if he doesn’t sort out the differences amicably given that such wrangles led to his fallout with Uhuru Kenyatta.

However, according to another political pundit Korir Mutai, the president is now keen on bringing Western region on board in preparations for 2027 by elevating wetangula and Mudavadi.

The region largely voted for azimio coalition party leader Raila Odinga in the just concluded presidential election.

Moses Wetangula is now the speaker of national assembly which is a very powerful position in the land.
