SUPREME COURT: RAILA ODINGA TO BE DECLARED WINNER

Supreme Court Judges have asked tough questions to the legal team representing Orange democratic party leader, Hounerable Raila Odinga and Martha Karua.

While speaking today, Judge Philomena Mwilu has asked what should be done incase the court arrives to a conclusion that either Deputy president William Ruto, who is the current president elect or Raila Odinga have more votes than the other with claims that the IEBC did not conduct fair elections.

“In the event, we arrive at figures that show that either Ruto or Raila has more votes, what are we to do?

Are we still to declare irrespective of all other processes having been impugned as submitted to us today?”-PhilomenaMwilu- Deputy CJ.

This is coming just hours after Odinga legal team asked the court to nulify election and order a fresh one with Wafula Chebukati out of office.

They claimed that he took over the roles which are not stipulated in the Constitution of Kenya. Well, let’s wait and see how things will play out soon ahead of judgement day.
