LIST OF 13 COUNTIES RAILA ODINGA WILL BE CAMPAIGNING IN BEFORE ELECTION.

With 12 days to the August 9 General Election, Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has scheduled several rallies in 13 counties to hunt for votes.

In a statement on Tuesday, July 26, Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition party secretary-general Junet Mohamed invited their supporters to attend the rallies lined up.

“We are now 13 days away from the 2022 General Election. As we continue our grand march to freedom on August 9 2022, the Azimio team has scheduled a series of fourteen 14 rallies all over the country begining today in Meru as part of this historic journey to a fair, just, and prosperous and inclusive nation,” Junet said.

  1. Nyeri/Laikipia
    On Wednesday, July 27, the Azimio team is headed to Nyeri county, where they are set to hold a major rally at Ruringu Stadium.
  1. Nakuru
    On Thursday, July 28, the ODM leader is headed to the populous Nakuru, where he is set to hold a mega rally at the historic Afraha Stadium.

Nakuru is one of the battlegrounds for the presidential race as it boosts 1.05 million registered voters.

  1. Machakos
    On Friday, July 29, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka plays the host of the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate at a rally at Machakos Stadium.
  1. Narok

On Saturday, July 31, the former prime minister will head to Maasai land, where he will hold a major rally at the historical Suswa grounds.

  1. Uasin Gishu/Nandi counties
    On Sunday, July 31, Raila heads to his arch-rival Deputy President William Ruto’s political backyard of Rift Valley, where he is set to hold two rallies.

Raila will visit Uasin Gishu county, where he will hold a rally at the 64 Stadium in Eldoret, before proceeding to Nandi, where he will stage a rally at Kapsabet town.

  1. Kiambu
    The Azimio team will, on August 1, pitch a tent in Mt Kenya, where they will hold their last rally in the region at Kirigiti Stadium in Kiambu.
  2. Kisii
    On August 2, the former prime minister will head to Kisii to ring-fence his political support in the region.
  1. Kakamega
    Bukhungu Stadium will, on August 3, play host to the Azimio la Umoja brigade as the fight over the Mulembe voting bloc intensifies.
  2. Kisumu
    Raila will hold his last rally in his Nyanza region at the newly constructed Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium on August 4.
  3. Mombasa
    Raila’s 2022 second last campaign rally will see him take his campaign to the coastal region, where he holds a rally at Tononka Grounds.
  4. Nairobi.
  5. As per tradition, Nairobi county will play host to Raila’s final rally in the 2022 presidential race with a rally at Kasarani Stadium.
