NEW PRICES OF COOKING OIL UNVEILED

Kenyans across the country will now be forced to spend more on purchase of cooking oil after the price of this pivotal commodity rose drastically.

According to the new market price of cooking oil, Kenyans will now be forced to dish out an hefty amount of money worth Ksh 400 in order to walk away with 1 litre of cooking oil.

This is the first time in Kenya since Independence where the price of Cooking Oil surpassed its current market price, that is, Ksh 400 for a litre of oil.

This essentially means that a myriad number of low income earners could find it difficult to put food on their table following the skyrocketing prices of food commodities.

The government has articulated that the soaring food prices in the country is solemnly contributed to by the ongoing Russian war aggression against Ukraine
