THIS IS THE SHOW THAT WILL REPLACE ZORA AT CITIZEN TV

Kenya’s premier television station Citizen TV has lined up a slew of new stellar shows slated to kick off in the second week of March.

As Zora faces an exit, the TV station has new shows that will not only fill up the vacuum but also stretch across the week and to also air on different timeframes.

Paa (Born to Fly) is a hot brand new 6-part teen drama that will start airing on Sundays at 6pm. The show will follow a group of high school students navigating their teenage-hood.

The teens, drawn from allover Kenya and students of St. Joseph will reveal their true colors and also find themselves as they navigate their tumultuous growth.

From good grades and mean girls to pushy parents and boy drama, viewers shall see Lydia, Talia, Neema and their friends make plans, make mistakes and make strides.

The show will premier on March 13th at 6pm.

Vencer El Desamor (Overcoming Heartbreak) is also a new show that Citizen TV has lined up. It’s a thrilling telenovela that showcases Barbara, Arianna, Dafne and Gemma who, although they are not from the same family or social class, they share a common denominator – they share a house, lack of support of their partners and lead a life of heartbreak.

Their backgrounds sometimes complicates the ladies’ relationship but little by little, their sisterhood is forged once they realize that they all have fallen in the hands of a heart breaker and has had their love life toppled one too may times.

The show will premier on March 7th at 8am.

Kali ni Kali is also a new musical show that will showcase the best of Kenya’s authentic music, appreciating our diversity through musical art and will premier on March 7th at 5pm.

‘Sultana’ is Citizen TV’s new show that will replace Zora.

The show is basically a series about a young blind lady who was pronounced dead from birth, having being born to a man who was obsessed with a male heir and was then switched at birth and later raised in the same village by the midwife who saved her life.

The ill-fated girl then survives all challenges that come with her inability to use her eyes and rises above all odds to look for her happiness, fighting stigma, rejection, unwanted pregnancy and poverty.
