AMETOBOA SIRI: UHURU REVEALS WHY HE DOES NOT WANT RUTO, GIDEON MOI AS THE NEXT PRESIDENT.

President Uhuru has finally opened up about his succession plan disclosing to Kenyans why he does not want either his Deputy William Ruto or Kenya African National Union party leader Gideon Moi as Kenya’s next President.

Fresh details have emerged that President Uhuru is determined to stop his Deputy from clinging to the Presidency blocking any leader from Mt Kenya and the Kalenjin community from taking over after him.

It has been established that during the Statehouse meeting held yesterday where President Uhuru met with a section of the Western region leaders supporting the handshake.

The Head of State took his time to explain more about his succession revealing that he does not want a president from two communities namely Kalenjin and the Kikuyu reiterating his past statements that “its time for other communities to lead.”

“It was only right to be magnanimous enough to allow other communities to lead the country,” the MP present in the meeting quoted the President saying.

Uhuru’s statement deals a blow to Kenya African National Union Party leader Gideon Moi and DP Ruto who have been positioning themselves to succeed the president seeing that he is fighting a Kalenjin President.

On DP Ruto, one of the MPs present during the meeting has informed that the President said that his move to break the promises he had made that he will support his Deputy for Presidency was after he saw his deputy turn power-hungry instead of supporting his development agenda.

“He said the DP has been campaigning most of the time instead of supporting him in nation-building,” the MP who sought anonymity has said.
