The National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) is a government agency that caters for the medical bills to the both outpatient and inpatient facilities across all the public and private hospitals.

Dr Ruto who was accompanied by a good number MPS and MCAs, revealed that if he will be elected as the next president of the republic of Kenya to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta, he will bring reforms in the NHIF offices.

Dr Ruto delivered good news to the unemployed Kenyans who don’t have income that the government will cater for their monthly payments while the those employed will have to dig deeper into their pockets to pay for the NHIF contributins.

He made the remarks during his political rally in Nairobi county.
