ALL SCHOOLS WILL NOT OPEN ON 3RD JANUARY

According to the 2021 Kenyan school timetable all schools will be reopened on 3rd January 2022.

Since last year March the country has been struggling to manage Covid-19 in the country. The virus is believed to have killed millions of people worldwide. The virus after being reported in the country brought many activities to a standstill.

The current president of Kenya His Excellency Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta together with the Ministry of Health has worked tirelessly to ensure that Kenyans are safe from the virus.

Recently the country has been reporting a positivity rate of more than 30 per cent and if the government does not impose strict measures the virus will overwhelm the health care facilities.

Opinion.

All school should not reopen back as scheduled because of the rise of Covid-19 cases. The government should ensure that each an every student, teachers and also the non teaching staff are vaccinated and the virus positivity rate has gone down. The lives of the students in school are important than education.
