COMPANY TO PAY PEOPLE KSH 260K PER MONTH TO LIE IN BED ALL DAY: APPLICATION ONGOING

Apart from reducing stress and helping muscles relax, lying in bed saves energy but it has now become a job opportunity as a company is willing to pay people for it.

The job will see successful applicants paid KSh 3.1 million per year which when broken down is KSh 260, 000 monthly.

You are paid just to lie in bed
While successful applicants will work 37.5 hours a week, the job is all about just lying in bed.

Recruits will also be required to test different mattresses every week, take notes and make assessments on their comfortability.

The aim of the job is to help the bed company make mattresses that offer the best comfort to customers.

Sleeping job

The company, Eachnight, said it would hire five successful professional nappers to test sleep theories behind the pros and cons of napping.

“We are currently hiring for a team of five people to become ‘Nap Reviewers’, and get paid to nap! Also, no, we are not joking,” the company stated on its website.

The company asked those seeking to take part in the study to submit their applications by filing an online form on or before May 31, 2021.

Successful individuals will be offered KSh 159,000 and must start the gig straight away once they confirm their commitment to napping each day for 30 days during the study.

Applicants must be able to sleep alone during the testing period to ensure that the naps are undisturbed.

During the study period, the researchers will establish the best nap duration for feeling refreshed and the effects of napping on overall fatigue levels.
