SERIAL KILLER MURDERS 12 CHILDREN IN NAIROBI

Police in Nairobi has arrested a man who confessed to killing 12 children.

The detectives have since recovered two bodies of children aged below 10, Capital FM reported.

According to The Star, the suspect was identified as Masten Milimu Wanjala aged 20.

The man reportedly led Buruburu detectives to the scene near Kabete Approved School where had dumped the bodies of the children named Charles Opindo Pala and Mutuku Musyoka.

The incident was confirmed by Nairobi police boss Augustine Nthumbi who said investigations into the murders had been launched.

The arrest came amid increasing cases of kidnapping across the country which have left Kenyans worried. US says Kenya unsafe In June, the United States (US) raised an alarm over increasing cases of kidnapping, carjacking and mugging in Kenya.

The powerful nation noted some minors and young adults were being kidnapped, physically abused and tortured with little knowledge to the authorities.

As it warned its citizens against travelling to some parts of Nairobi such as Kibra and Eastleigh, it stated the Kenyan police were not effective in dealing with the increasing crime cases.
