KENYAN POLITICIAN DIES AT THE AIRPORT WHILE WAITING MEDICAL EVACUATION

Eldas MCA Ibrahim Abass has passed on at the Wajir International Airport while waiting for Amref Medical Evacuation Services to Nairobi.

Wajir governor Ahmed Ali Muktar broke the news of Ibrahim’s demise on his official Facebook page, eulogizing the late as a good leader gone too soon.

“The late was very passionate about his work and has on numerous occasions advocated for excellent services for the people of Wajir County,” he wrote.

He conveyed his condolences to the family, friends and the people of Eldas Ward for the loss.

Eldas Member of Parliament Adan Keynan Wehliye also confirmed the sad news as he expressed sympathy for the late Ibrahim’s family and friends.

In his eulogy, he attributed the commendable accomplishments in the ward to Ibrahim’s influence, efforts, and leadership style.

“Abass was a brilliant and transformative community servant who served the great people of the Eldas ward with honor and dexterity,” he said.

He requested prayer for the people of Eldas as they come to terms with the sudden loss of their legislator.
