KENYA AIRWAYS PLANE ABANDONED IN ETHIOPIA

KQ Plane Abandoned in Ethiopia: For the past 31 years, KQ plane Boeing 707-315B has been collecting rust at the Addis Ababa – Bole Airport.

And yes indeed, the plane can never be redeemed.

According to a report that appears on the Aviation Safety net database platform, the plane was abandoned at the airport after suffering damage beyond repair.

Apparently, the aircraft returned to Addis Ababa after its landing gear didn’t retract.

The brakes failed after touchdown and the Boeing overran the wet runway.

It had a total of 66 passengers at the time, bringing its total occupants to 76. KQ Plane Abandoned in Ethiopia.
