NDUTHI SPOTTED CARRYING ALCOHOL WORTH SH 1.9 MILLION

Have you ever seen a nduthi in your area carrying expensive property worth more than the cycle? Sometimes you will see a guy carrying a TV worth over 300,000 shillings on a motorbike. Well, today a rider in Ruiru might have taken the bar high. He was spotted carrying alcohol with an estimated worth of Sh 1.9 Million.

The motorcycle is loaded with what seems as over nine cartons of Glenfiddich and Hennessy alcohol. The picture raised various reactions online with many questioning if it is true that the alcohol is legit. A bottle of Glenfiddich usually goes for Sh 6000 in retail. I have a hard time thinking how I can carry one bottle on a busy road with a nduthi leave alone several cartons.

Some tweeps said that it is very possible that the alcohol is packaged at Ruiru and those are not the original brands. In Kenya, creating counterfeit brands is rife and many said this could be a similar case. One Twitter user wondered how a motorcycle with worn out tyres can carry such expensive alcohol. Do you think the alcohol is fake?
