MOBILE APPS THAT CAN GIVE YOU LOAN EVEN IF YOU ARE ON CRB

At a time when people are struggling to put food on table, its helpful when you find a lender willing to give you a loan. Most lenders though cannot give you a loan if you are negatively listed on CRB. They check your credit history and see if you have defaulted any loan within that period. A default will disqualify you making you miss much needed cash.

Before the advent of mobile banking, only banks and micro finance could list you negatively on Credit Reference Bureau. The records could stay there for five years and within that time no bank could give you a loan. Nowadays many people have been listed because of small amounts of money advanced by mobile lenders. If you default Sh 100 from Tala you would find yourself not able to access lending services elsewhere.

Kenyans can breathe a sigh of relief after Central Bank of Kenya banned most mobile lenders from listing Kenyans negatively. These are apps that their parent company are not regulated by the institution. Mobile lenders like Mshwari, Timiza and KCB MPESA can list you if you default their loans.

Not being listed should not make you not pay a loan advanced to you. Remember that this is a contract with lender which they have honored on their part. Do not borrow a loan without intention of repaying. When you do so, it means that other people may not access services and most importantly you will not be able to access from the app the next time you are in need. Paying loans in due time also increases your loan limit. It is also ethical to pay your loans.
