TOUGH TIMES AHEAD FOR KENYANS AS FAMOUS SENATOR DELIVERS BAD NEWS.

Narok county vocal Senator Ledama Olekina has finally delivered bad news to Kenyans revealing that government plans to borrow more money to fund the Building Bridges Initiative Constitutional amendment bill in the much- anticipated referendum.

Senator Ledama Olekina has penned via his official social media Twitter handle informing that in the financial year 2021/22, the government’ s debt will stand at a whooping Ksh 386 Billion before the passing of the Building Bridges Initiative adding that the Shareable revenue to the 47 County Governments standing at Ksh 370 Billion.

The Narok county Senator has further said that with the current situation then it means that the National Government will have to look for alternative ways to fund the counties as well as catering for the Building Bridges Initiative Constitutional amendment bill (BBI) which is headed to the referendum in August hence resulting in more borrowing by tha government.

According to Senator Ledama Ole Kina, all Kenyans should expect tough times ahead with increased taxes and a possible increase in prices of commodities. This comes after the governnent borrowed another loan from IMF early this month.
