POLICE ANNOUNCES JOBS WITH 250K SALARY. APPLY HERE

The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has called for applications for jobs whose salaries vary between Ksh 45,000 and Ksh 250,000 as Interior CS Fred Matiang’i is keen on revamping the service by appointing well-skilled and educated officers. 

Applicants have up to April 26, 2021, to apply for the 60 vacancies that include entry-level and senior management jobs. All salaries are paid monthly with permanent and pensionable jobs.

Manager Counseling Services – 1 Position 

Gross Salary Scale: Kshs. 173,523-249,523

Will coordinate the planning, management and administration of Counselling services;

Requirements

Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s in Counselling Psychology, Sociology or in any of the Social

Sciences with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling 

Counsellor Supervision Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks

Senior Counselor- 5 Positions 

Gross Salary Scale: Kshs. 122,000-202,004

Plan, organize and facilitate seminars and workshops on counselling matters

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from a recognized institution or Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Social Sciences with a Diploma in Counselling.

Psychological Debriefing Course lasting not less than one week;

Counselor II & I – 6 Positions 

Gross Salary Scale: Kshs. 90,000-130,000

Accurately and appropriately use assessment procedures for determining and structuring individual and group counselling services

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, Sociology from a recognized institution or Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Social Sciences with a Diploma in Counselling. 

Senior Social Worker – 4 Positions

Gross Salary Scale: Kshs. 122,000-202,004

Coordinate all social work activities at the institution

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Public Health, Counseling, Anthropology, Nursing or equivalent qualification. 

Social Worker II – 4 Positions

Gross Salary Scale: Kshs. 90,000-130,000

Responsible for handling psychosocial problems of clients in a Centre

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Public Health, Counseling, Anthropology, Nursing or equivalent qualification. 

Social Worker – 2 Positions

Gross Salary Scale: Kshs. 70,000-98,000

Implements care plans for each client and follow up with those care plans adhering to guidance and schedule

Computer proficiency

Requirements

Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Mental Health, Public Health/Nursing or its equivalent qualification

KCSE mean grade C-
