ORENGO REVEALS WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF RAILA FAILS TO VIE FOR PRESIDENCY.

Siaya Senator, James Aggrey Orengo, who may be an ally of the ODM party leader Raila Odinga, has reacted to the confusion over the Former Prime Minister’ s application for the ODM party presidential ticket in 2022.

Speaking on an interview with KTN news, Orengo said that Raila may be a senior politician who has the potential to form his own decisions, therefore, there is noone who can force him to vie for presidency in 2022.

He said that the ODM leader is yet to form the choice on his journey towards the upcoming 2022 general elections. He still has longer to try to do so and he will make the choice at the proper time, especially after the BBI constitutional amendment process is over.

He added that if that point comes and he decides not to run for presidency, then ODM party won’ t have any worry since they have already got the two potential candidates who have applied for the party ticket. That’ s Kakamega Governor, Wycliffe Oparanya and his counterpart Ali Hassan Joho from Mombasa.

He added that there are other qualified persons within the party who are capable of applying for that presidential ticket, and that they can lead the party before next year’ s general elections.

” We as a celebration cannot force Raila Odinga to vie for presidency until he decides so. We have already got two applicants (Wycliffe Oparanya and Ali Hassan Joho). We even have other persons within the party who can apply for that position. ” He said.

In other news, The Deputy President of Kenya, Hon. William Ruto is understood to be one among the politicians within the country who have an enormous support from the people of Kenya. He’ s documented through his slogan ” The Hustler Nation”

Among the region’ s that DP Ruto features a huge support is Mount Kenya region which houses the president of Kenya, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta. This will be seen from the amount of allies that he have from that region. These allies are acting as Ruto’ s defenders.

Now, today, Ruto has suffered an enormous blow from the Mount Kenya region. This was after his vocal supporter hon Anthony Kiai who is that the Member of Parliament for Mukuruweini Constituency changed his tune and declared his support for the handshake and therefore the BBI.

Talking during an interview with Inooro TV, Hon. Kiai vowed to support Uhuru Kenyatta’ s handshake and BBI saying that Mount Kenya region must be united before the 2022 general elections.

This move by Hon. Kiai are going to be an headache to William Ruto as he has been criticizing the handshake and therefore the BBI. This now means DP Ruto have lost a key ally from Mount Kenya region to the handshake proponents.
