TWO LUHYA LEADERS FIGHT EACH OTHER BECAUSE OF RAILA ODINGA

Today’s politics have largely concentrated on the ouster of Senator Cleophas Malala who was kicked out of Senate leadership by ODM. Various leaders have given their reactions including ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi. It should be noted that Malala was elected to the senate under ANC ticket.

Musalia pointed finger at ODM for being sore losers. He said that Malala was removed from his position as Deputy Minority Leader because he orchestrated Matungu’s parliamentary win for ANC party. No one disagreed with him more than his fellow Western Region leader Boniface Khalwale.

Khalwale who was once loyal supporter of ODM changed affiliation and now is a key strategist to Ruto and Hustler Nation. Being in Ruto’s camp did not prevent Khalwale giving Mudavadi a earful. Khalwale pointed out the hypocrisy in Mudavadi’s tweet and was not afraid to call him out.

According to Khalwale, it is only out of Raila’s generosity that Musalia Mudavadi as party leader receives funds from the government meant for political party. This is because ODM which is the second largest party in Parliament and Senate was in a coalition with ANC and other parties forming NASA coalition. Raila also rewarded ANC MPs with party positions. Khalwale wondered after all that Raila did to Musalia, how can he have an audacity to admonish him.

Khalwale was not the only prominent leader to criticize Musalia Mudavadi. Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen wondered how Musalia can lecturer Raila Odinga while himself chased Malala away from the party just few months ago.
