BABU OWINO IN DEEP TROUBLE.

Babu Owino in trouble after Nairobi court dismissed an application by Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) to have a criminal case against him withdrawn.

Trial Magistrate Bernard Ochoi noted that unconditional withdrawal is not appropriate in the case where he is charged with shooting Felix Orinda, alias DJ Evolve.

The court further directed that Babu Owino to disclose what he has offered DJ Evolve’s family, noting that the court has not been told whether compensation has been made despite the serious injuries suffered by DJ Evolve.

Magistrate Ochoi noted that the parties in the case are at liberty to engage.

The MP was charged early last year with attempting to murder DJ Evolve at B-club. He is out on cash bail.
