VETERAN RADIO PRESENTER IS DEAD

A famous Radio presenter has been announced dead. Hillary Ojiambo was a former Capital FM and Nation presenter.

The news of his demise was announced by his former employers at Capital FM who shared the message on Facebook.

It is believed the famed radio presenter died on Sunday, February 21, but the circumstances surrounding his death are still unknown.

The late Ojiambo was known for his impeccable mastery of the English language and a great lover of Jazz which he pioneered at Capital FM.

Former friend and colleague in radio Maina Kageni went on social media to mourn his death saying no radio personality in East and Central Africa influenced listeners to listen to Jazz like Ojiambo did.

“This was difficult news to receive! Rest In Peace Jack Ojiambo. I dare say that no radio presenter in East and Central Africa influenced as many people to listen to Jazz Music as you did. Your magic of putting Jazz across together with your multiple talents in this industry has left an indelible mark. Unforgettable modern radio legend!! #RIP,” wrote Kageni.
