THE JUBILEE BETRAYAL

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has convened a special meeting with party officials from all the 47 counties.

Journalists were barred from the Tuesday, January 19, meeting which was held at the Convent International Hotel.

The outfit is yet to disclose the agenda of the meeting but revealers said Jubilee’s betrayal accusation was part of the discussion, not limited to the Nairobi gubernatorial succession politics.

ODM is reportedly pushing for their member to be appointed to deputise the disputed Anna Kananu Mwenda.

The opposition party has accused the ruling party of failing to honor its pact in the handshake agreement.

There have been speculations that the handshake is scrambling following repetitive attacks by the ODM allied politicians on the government.

Recently, Siaya Senator James Orengo faulted President Uhuru Kenyatta over the running of the Jubilee government asking him to put his house in order.

Deputy President William Ruto has also claimed that the former premier has a plan to abandon the handshake and leave the Jubilee Party in turmoil.

“Ruto took a swipe at Raila, who has been lashing out at the Jubilee administration for not delivering on its promises, stating that they (ODM), joined the government when most of the projects had stalled,” said Ruto.
