DP RUTO DEFIANT STATEMENT TO HIS OPPONENTS

Deputy President William Ruto is now daring Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga to a 2022 contest at the presidential ballot exuding confidence that he will floor the former premier in a free and fair election.

DP Ruto spoke on Saturday as he received defectors from Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) led by party leader Isaac Ruto in Bomet, and in Kajiado as Raila’s key allies also dropped the orange and opted for the wheelbarrow.

The country’s second in command appeared to be racing against time to meet as many Kenyans as possible in his bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta, making whistle-stop meet the people tours in Kiserian town, Rongai and Matasia.

Ruto, while fighting hard to sell his hustler agenda to Kenyans, further rubbished Raila’s criticism of the hustler narrative.

DP Ruto appeared to craft his regional campaign teams as next year’s General Election campaigns heat up.

His allies questioned the government and its handling of Nairobi politics accusing the President Kenyatta administration of undermining the rule of law.
