After being childless for 21 years God blesses her with triplets

God answers in his own good time. If you trust in the process he gives you bountiful. This is a story of John Gitobu and Florence Makena who waited for 21 years for God to give them a child. It’s a story full of hope, sadness, pain and joy. A rollercoaster of emotions spanning two decades.

The couple stuck to each other. Loved each other right and prayed to God to bless them with a child. They would visit hospitals to seek for answers at a cost of 300,000 shillings. When after two decades they were finally blessed with their own, Makena took the moment to praise God. Speaking to KBC she said, “After 21 years, God has decided to bless me and shine his light on me. I became pregnant and delivered three children.” The statement was charachtersitic of the couple. In their lowest moment of despair, they never stopped trusting in the Lord.

Florence has named of the three triplets Miracle to signify God’s doing in their life. The family is seeking support from well-wishers to help them raise their new family. Speaking to KBC, Gitobu said, “We stayed for long and used a lot of money to a point we had nothing. We are in debt and owe over KSh 300,000.” Gitobu is a JuaKali artisan.
