Kenyan MCA wins eating competition

Kenyan politics has been characterized by wanton looting of public resources since independence. The politicians have perfected the art of ‘eating’ public resources with service delivery a distant concern for them.

It seems now that politicians have taken eating of public resources literally. Pictures have been circulating online of Kimilili Ward MCA David Barasa popularly known as Juakali allegedly taking part in an eating competition.

It’s said the MCA won the competition easily due to lack of a worth competitor. It’s sad and paints a bleak future for the nation when elected officials are more hungry than the electorate. Residents of Kimilili Ward are now wondering if his appetite will be sated by his salary or he will poach the little that is meant for them.
