RUTO ON TRACK. ALL IS WELL!

Yesterday when Ruto attended his political funeral, in the name of jubelee party meeting, two scenarios came in my mind.

In early days, there was a greek legend called Sisyphus. Albert Camus writes the absurdity of this man. He was a great man and decided to challenge the gods, to appear more superior than them rather.

The gods forced them to choose between being killed or to keep on pushing a huge stone to the top of the mountain only for the stone to roll down continuously. He was to do this meaningless and endless punishment for eternity. Sisyphus accepts this fate and decides to be happy. He says “ALL IS WELL, enjoying this struggle is enough to fill a mans heart.”
Albert says that Sisyphus must be imagined happy. He is a hero for he is able to accept his fate.

Still in Greece, when Oedipus realized that he couldn’t do anything about the fate that gods planned for him, of killing his father and marrying his mother,
Sophocles says, “Happiness and absurd are two sons of the same earth, they are inseparable, hence you must choose fate and enjoy it. He concludes, Oedipus, ALL IS WELL.”

Ruto yesterday smiling and waving in his political funeral is the same as the Sisyphus enjoying his punishment from gods. If in any case he is innocent and didn’t annoy his god, then he is like Oedipus who dint make any mistake but fate chose to make him suffer.

This is a man who is a hero for accepting his fate. He will die politically but he will die with dignity.
2022 politics is like a game of musical chairs, with all other players well placed in their seats, only one man standing without a seat, Ruto. Waiting for music to stop so that he can sit, yet all seats are already occupied. He will miss seat definitely, but he will be a hero for accepting the fate. Its well son of Sugoi its fate that chose you not Baba, not president. Keep on enjoying it like you did yesterday.
