She is lucky! See the only K24 anchor spared during its mass firing
K24 TV is reportedly closing shop thus laying off almost 99% of its news anchors this week. Despite Betty Kyallo’s public announcement about her exit from this station it turns out that she was fired.
K24 now is planning to collaborate with KTN for its news feed with one nrws anchor who was spared.

Anne Kiguta who is famously known for her punchline show is the only presenter who was spared during the mass firing. Her political weekend show will be the only news-related item airing on the Kenyatta-owned media company.
This was revelead when K24 TV sports anchor, Caren Kibbett was chatting with fans on her social media. Ms Kibbett was bidding Betty Kyallo goodbye on her last show on Saturday on 2nd May.
A fan then questioned why Betty was moving from one station to another, then Ms Kibbett responded that they are all leaving K24.
Anne Kiguta who is claimed to have been married into the Kenyatta family is the only spared news anchor.
This merger is unique as it comes it is set to work is that each show from K24 will be airing for roughly an hour on KTN before the Standard Group TV station switches to KTN News.
