Kerocho CEO’s daughter Tecra Muigai passes on

Daughter of chairman Keroche Breweries John Karanja and CEO Tabitha Karanja, Tecra Muigai  has died in grissly road accident that happened on Saturday afternoon. Until her demise she was the Director of Strategic planning and innovation and Keroche Breweries.

Tecra who is the eldest daughter of Tabitha and John Karanja died in a tragic road accident on saturday afternoon according to the chairman’s statement.

“Until her death she worked as the Strategy and Innovation Director at Keroche Breweries. As we begin preparation for her final send off we ask for respect and privacy during these difficult times,”  a statement from the company.

Tecra Muigai was described by the Kericho Board of Directors as brilliant, energetic and passionate, this enabled her to contribute tremendously to the company.

“Tecra’s brilliance, passion and energy were source of important innovations that enriched company’s product range including the development of new brands that were scheduled to happen this year”

Tecra was the second born in the family of four, James Karanja, Anerlisa Muigai (the founder and CEO of Nero Water Company) Edward Muigai and Tecra Muigai. Tecra  has been maintaining  a private life, her sister Anerlisa disclosed two months ago that she  hated limelight that is why she did not share her pictures.

“My sister is so cold towards me. When we walk together then she sees a lot of people, she always leaves me like somebody she doesn’t know.

“She also introduces me as her friend lol, the worst is when she denies me. She just hates the spotlight and that is why I don’t post her on my page even if it’s a family photo,” She wrote.
