Seven inmates sit KCSE examinations at Bomet GK Prison as 11 undertake KJSEA

Seven inmates at Bomet Government of Kenya (GK) Prison are among candidates sitting the ongoing 2026 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations, in an effort to extend educational opportunities to learners serving prison sentences.The seven are taking their national examinations within the correctional facility, where arrangements have been made to enable them to continue their education despite their incarceration.
